The Overkill is a playful festival which regroups an art exhibition, a selection of indie games (+ retro games + a mini LAN), an alternative movie program, live performances and many activities such as workshops, masterclasses, talks… all selected around our theme and presented together in an original and immersive setting.

The showcase will expose patches and ideas for live performances. A guid-line in circuits that meant to use in versatile way. Bulcha Easel and Serge synths patched in a way that will collaborate in patch programmability and sound, in order to give color palette to use on live performances. The first part will be performance and the second part analysis and talk around live and patches.

For the second part of our story, Holland's most prestigious temple of pop, Paradiso Amsterdam, will be the ideal setting.
The concept is simple. Acts bring drum computers, synthesizers, effect pedals or play with vinyl, delivering the perfect live ambiance for you to soak up.
When you're on the dance-floor, the music is unpredictable. The artist doesn't know where they're going and you don't know where it's headed. These ingredients form the raw base of what will be a night to remember.

'Transmitting Silence' is the sound and image revision of Hmisu and Givi Lomouri on the term 'Silence' and its absence in our culture, space and time. By declaring this phenomenon real, we understand that silence is the agreement of peace between organic and inorganic structures. And by travelling through this term that characterises a brief moment in our mind, conversation, situation and natural state; our performance allegorically expresses how arbitrary those moments really are, and how human civilization embraces them in separate cultures.
